A leading and growing accountancy practice, based in Bristol is looking to recruit a Forensics Accountant into its highly regarded forensics team and department. The opportunity provides an ideal career move for the right nearly qualified /finalist or newly qual ACA / ACCA accounting professional, looking to move into the sector, from a background in audit, accounts, tax, insolvency etc, with a demonstrable interest in carving a career, down this route.

The forensics team has a superb reputation and has a depth of forensics expertise.

Description

Joining as a Forensics Accountant, you will carve a key role, supporting managers, directors and partners on a wide raft of forensic accounting projects. Projects arise through varied SME's and individuals, across matrimonial valuations, professional negligence cases, evaluating claims against professionals, insolvency related cases, fraud, proceeds of crime, loss of earnings, personal injuries and others. You will research, distil and analyse financial data, with a critical thinking approach and producing written reports, working on a range of projects. You will progress and develop your career, building skills down this career route.

Profile

You will be at either finalist/ nearly qualified level, or recently, newly qualified as an ACA / ACCA accounting professional, with a clear and demonstrable interest in carving a career, down the forensics accounting route. You may have existing experience within forensic accounting, or have developed your career wtihin the accounting profession, down a different discipline area, audit, insolvency, tax etc and be interested in the potential to move into this specialist field, carving a key role working alongside and learning from highly reputable and successful professionals in this field. You will be able to demonstrate strong competencies across written skills, analysis skills, attention to detail and a critical thinking approach

Circa £34,000 - £40,000 +, dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits
