Badenoch + Clark are working with a global organisation looking to recruit a Senior Tax Reporting Design Lead for an initial 6 month period. The Senior Tax Reporting Design Lead will be responsible for documenting, analysing and supporting the global business process design for the quarterly tax reporting process. Specifically focusing on process mapping, production of SOPs, Excel enhancement/automation (modelling), as well as assisting with the testing, training and deployment of the enhanced solution. The role will also be responsible for the assessment of market technology that may enhance the tax reporting process.

Key accountabilities are:
*Agree the Project vision with the business stakeholder and realisation approach ensuring technical solutions fit with Architecture roadmaps and blueprints
*Shadowing the existing process at quarter end reporting
*Grasping all business requirements, influencing and recognising design decisions
*Documenting to-be process outcomes in the format of a process map and SOP
*Enhancing the existing Excel tax reporting process
*Developing test scenarios, scripts and manage the testing phase
*Preparing Change Impact Assessment (CIA)
*Prepare training materials and ensure successful transition of the to-be process to the business

Additional responsibilities include:
*Responsible for creating and attaining sign off of project plans, including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality as defined in the IT Project Management Methodology.
*Preparing and validating materials with the Business Owner and relevant Transformation programme stakeholders before distribution to wider audience
*Identifies potential areas of vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues
*Input into the various PMO cadence, including but not limited to weekly project status reporting, RAID log, Design Log and Task Log
*Maintains high degree of creditability, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust
*Manage and coordinate programme budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, and change management, to support effective programme decisions.
*Manage and coordinate interdependencies between programme workstreams (intra-program and across portfolio).
*Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and commitment to project/program objectives. Responsible for steering / stakeholder meetings, communication of status, issues, risks.
*Oversee changes to project scope, ensuring that all impacts and changes are approved and appropriately communicated to senior stakeholders and review boards.
*Ensure service transition plans including controlled hand-over into support and maintenance are performed.

*Tax Accounting Experience
*Appropriate tax / accounting qualification
*Excellent experience of excel and enhanced functionality
*Proven skills and experience managing and controlling large project and programme budgets
*Hands on experience of working in tax reporting environment
*Experience shaping innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organisation.
*48+ months of proven relevant experience
