Our client, a locally based company are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract.
This position would suit either a newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, or a candidate that is coming near completion of their studies.
As a Management Accountant you will support the effective evaluation and financial control of the development programme and will play a lead role in the production of management accounts and business planning.
Duties:
- Provide a business partner service to project/sales managers
- Play a lead role in the production of management accounts
- Produce quarterly / annual financial statements, prepare the VAT return & provide monthly reports for senior management and Board Level
- Provide feedback on project performance by comparing performance to plan
- Provide analysis and creative input from financial data
- Provide personal leadership and promote a group approach in all areas of responsibility
Candidate:
- Ability to prepare management and statutory accounts
- Demonstrate strong MS Excel spread sheet skills
- Ability to interpret legislative and regulatory requirements
- ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified, or nearing completion of studies
