Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice is currently representing an exciting and growing Services business in their search for a Group Financial Accountant to work out of their offices based just outside Bolton.
The Group Financial Accountant ideally needs to be ACA qualified strong academic background. Consideration will be given to outstanding candidates that are CIMA or ACCA trained with outstanding technical accounting skills. Strong technical and analytical skills are crucial and the suitable applicant will need to have advanced Excel. The ability to work to tight deadlines and build strong relationships throughout an organisation is critical. Any knowledge of mergers and acquisitions would be preferable and you will need experience of IFRS accounting standards. Key duties for the Group Financial Accountant position will include the following:-

- Preparation of monthly management accounts pack
- Preparation of reporting on a quarterly basis for shareholders
- Group cash flow analysis
- Production of year end accounts
- VAT reporting
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Look to improve processes and procedures
- Assist with the acquisition and integration of different businesses
- Ad-hoc project work
