The organisation now seeks a qualified accountant to join the business as a Financial Controller and support the next phase of financial growth. Supporting the CFO and managing a small finance team, your brief includes:

•Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations & consolidation of international entities
•Delivering commercial insight, analysis & deliver MI to review & business performance
•Driving the annual budgeting & re-forecasting process including identifying key opportunities & risks, monitoring performance & reporting on variances
•Treasury management including weekly cashflow forecasting & reporting, payments, banking relationships, currency movements & FX risks
•Ownership of the accounting system including chart of accounts, data interfaces, integrity of accounting data, upgrades & training
•Ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation & accounting standards including defining & instigating appropriate policies & procedures
•Assessing & monitoring credit risk of new & existing suppliers & ensuring best value for money
•Managing fixed asset register & supporting investment decision making
•Managing audit process & auditor relationship
•Providing an HR service including employment contracts, payroll processing, pensions compliance, bonus/commission payments & team reviews
•Driving improvements to ERP system to create efficiencies in reporting processes

Additionally, you will drive a range of finance projects around process, systems and efficiency streamlining and improvement. As a graduate qualified accountant with strong technical reporting and analysis skills, gained ideally within an SME environment, you will demonstrate a passion for working within a rapidly growing and evolving business, alongside a proactive, hands on approach and a commercial eye for detail. The ability to implement new processes, develop reporting procedures and build robust relationships with key decision makers is prerequisite. Previous use of Navision would be advantageous. Experience of the Retail, Manufacturing or Services sectors would be useful but not essential.
