Group Financial Accountant

A FTSE services company is looking for a talented Group Financial Accountant, who will support the reporting team in both internal and external reporting.

This is an ideal assignment for anybody who is looking for exposure to senior stakeholders, and wants the chance to work for a large multinational plc. The Hiring manager describes the role as:

"This is a critical hire for us over the next few months; which will be working closely with senior management supporting our group reporting team with group consolidations and technical accounting."

To successfully deliver in this role, you will need to have:

• A background in finance (ideally qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Previous experience of working as a group accountant for a large Plc.
• Proven senior stakeholder management ability, and strong communication skills.
• Track record in preparing annual reports and accounts, drawing information from SAP BPC.
• Experience with working in line with IFRS.

A little more information about the role:

• Occasional requirement to travel (2-3 times per year) to perform internal financial reviews.
• Working closely with senior executives, Group functions and external auditors
• Reports to the Group Finance Manager.
