Finance Analyst

A well-known retail organisation in Manchester are looking for a Finance Analyst to join them for a full-time, permanent role paying up to £45,000 per year. As Financial Analyst you will analyse data around the effectiveness of promotions within the business, using insight to inform optimisation or promotions.

Responsibilities of your new role

As Finance Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing category promotions and how they're performing
• Using analysis and insight to challenge and influence commercial decisions
• Analysing the effectiveness of category promotions, feeding back insight to the business based on your results
• Providing technical and professional advice and guidance to commercial teams
• Analysing and drawing complex data to inform critical business decisions

Candidate requirements

The business seeks a Finance Analyst who demonstrates:

• A professional accounting qualification
• Experience analysing and manipulating complex data sets
• Experience presenting information in a conclusive and concise way
• The ability to tell a story with data, translating complex and technical information to different audiences
• Great relationship building and engagement skills
• The confidence to challenge and influence business decisions
• Experience working towards tight deadlines and managing priorities
• Experience of working within a large retail organisation is a benefit but not essential
