Financial Accountant - Doncaster

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting a Financial Accountant for a leading manufacturing business in Doncaster.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key purpose of this role is to direct and manage the Financial Accounting function to a standard that meets statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- To ensure the Company's balance sheet and profit and loss account are accurately recorded in the accounting ledgers

- Manage the accurate and timely compilation of the Financial Ledger Accounting information within the legal framework of statutory legislation and professional statements of standard accounting practice

- Prepare all the statutory Company accounts and returns, on a timely and accurate basis

- Management and responsibility for setting objectives, developing and appraising the performance of designated accounts team

- Development of best practice operational procedures

Key Skills / Experience Required:

- ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant
- Strong technical accounting experience including FRS 102
- Corporation tax knowledge
