An excellent boutique accountancy firm is looking for an Accounts Manager to step into a Client Management position at their office in Tunbridge Wells.
Role Responsibilities
The successful Accounts Manager will take on the following duties:
- Maintaining a productive relationship with clients in the portfolio – regular contact, dealing with any specific queries or problems
- Assisting with/undertaking project work as required to meet agreed deadlines
- Acting as a point of contact for clients to ensure that matters are dealt with in a timely manner
- Completing complex accounts work as required
- Undertaking ad-hoc project work as required to meet agreed deadlines
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
The Accounts Manager is likely to have the following attributes:
- ACA/ACCA Qualification
- Ideally 5 years’ experience (1-2 years’ PQE)
- Wide range of general practice experience for owner managed businesses, including personal tax
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to build relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the business
- Adaptable and flexible when dealing with changing priorities and deadlines
- Confidence to work with clients and develop key relationships internally and externally
- Able to work as part of a team and across departments
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Contract, Salary and Benefits
- Permanent, full time contract
- £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
