Financial Accountant

Resourcery Group have been invited to recruit for an Big 4 trained, ACA qualified, Financial Accountant based in Warrington for a high-growth tech business which is forecasting further rapid expansion and a doubling of turnover in the next 12 months. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in the on-going growth of the business. The Financial Accountant will work as part of a wider team (of circa 15) in finance. The title of the role is a little misleading as in addition to assisting with the year end and half year financial statements/disclosures, tax and implementing new controls and process, the Financial Accountant will also prepare, complete and review the month end accounts and monhtly variance analysis for actuals versus budget and forecast. It is a much broader role than a typical first move from Practice touching on management accounts, financial accounts, over viewing revenue processes etc. You will, as such, be exposed to a wide array of cross-functional stakeholders which will help accelerate your commercial and operational understanding.

The successful applicant should be:

• ACA qualified from a Big 4 Practice background or with less than 3 years industry experience
• Capable of working in a rapidly growing business dealing with multiple stakeholders
• Be keen to be mentored by a tenured FC
• Possess robust Excel skills
