Finance Business Partner

Vitae Financial Recruitment is proud to be partnering with an industry innovator and consumer favourite, to source a top calibre Finance Business Partner to join in this newly created role. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will be part of a close-knit and talented operation, providing excellent support and business partnering to a range of key functions.

Your key focus will be to partner with Operational teams to help them drive performance and deliver against budget, as well working with central functions to deliver commercial insight and strategy. It's excellently varied and well-balanced role, giving the successful candidate a wealth of skills to draw on and develop further, in a fast paced environment.

You'll be expected to utilise a level of credibility and gravitas to enact change where needed and drive decision-making across your areas, through 'best in class' analysis and commercial insight.

Main duties include:
* Reporting and financial planning, both regular and ad hoc analysis
* Assisting in the annual budget and re-forecasting process
* Business partnering with Directors to help optimise and shape strategy
* Partnering with Operations Teams delivering clarity and consistency to commercial decision making
* Dealing with queries from stakeholders
* Assisting with the delivery of monthly commercial reporting
* Contributing commercials into monthly board packs

Key experience and skill required:
* ACCA/CIMA finalist or qualified (part-qualified would be considered if experience is spot on)
* Multi-site exposure would be highly advantageous
* Credible and confident communicator
* Ability to analyse data and present it clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders
* Strong Excel skills
* Clear initiative and drive to perform at the highest standard
* Ambitious, self-starter with a positive and proactive approach to work
* Flexible attitude as role will require some travel in the UK (approx. 1 day per week)
