£31,320 pa plus up to 5% Performance Related Pay
Based in North London, N17
Our residents are at the heart of everything we do at Newlon. With approximately 8,000 affordable homes across north and east London and a range of tenants for whom we also supply care and support, we are bringing all our services up to our Newlon Gold standard.
Taking responsibility for invoicing across the organisation, as Billing and Credit Analyst you will take the lead in all group billing, ensuring an effective invoicing timetable is in place and all invoices raised have been duly agreed with external parties and local authorities, and evidenced by contracts or signed agreements where appropriate.
As Billing and Credit Analyst, you will also work collaboratively with the Credit Controller and a range of managers across the group to ensure debtor issues are resolved in an efficient and proactive manner. A people person with the ability to communicate proactively and effectively at all levels, the Billing and Credit Analyst must be able to able to establish good working relationships with service teams. The ability to be supportive and assist non-financial staff to understand the need for good and accurate financial information for accurate billing is also required for this Billing and Credit Analyst role.
Having previously worked in a similar role, the Billing and Credit Analyst will have good knowledge of billing and collection routines, and sound experience of dealing with external contacts and customers, ranging from local authorities, companies and to private customers or their representatives. As Billing and Credit Analyst, you will also have a background of working with operational colleagues to resolve customer queries that are delaying payment, and experience of using Excel to an intermediate level. Computerised accounting packages, in particular SUN Accounts would be helpful.
