Head of Finance (Reporting & Analysis)

£70,000 - £80,000 base salary + bonus + car

Chesterfield

A varied and pivotal assignment within a large impressive PLC.  You will be a key business partner able to provide sound financial information and guidance to a broad audience of non finance stakeholders.  You will lead a team of 10+ focused on the delivery of accurate, meaningful and insightful management accounts / monthly reporting packs.  You will be a key finance leader, supporting the Finance Director and partnering with colleagues across the senior leadership team.

You will be someone with strong core technical accounting skills coupled with demonstrable commerciality and business acumen.

You will be someone who enjoys working with the wider business and is able to create firm and valuable relationships with colleagues in commercial and operational areas of the group.

You will be someone who enjoys working in a continuous improvement environment.  You will have chance to enhance controls, develop reporting and streamline processes where you see fit.

The initial assignment is for a period of 12 months.

You will be:

·         ACCA / ACA / CIMA Qualified with a track record of success within a large business / group.

·         Able to demonstrate ability to lead, coach and mentor a management accounting team.

·         Someone with a firm technical accounting knowledge and demonstrable commercial acumen.

·         Someone who enjoys working with a fast paced environment.

·         Able to balance a role which will include business as usual reporting alongside project involvement. 

·         The business is amid a period of ongoing change and investment.  The position would suit someone who will enjoy contributing to positive change and development.

·         Able to commit to a 12 month assignment.
