Finance Manager (Operations) / Finance Business Partner

Market-leading £100m turnover business (part of a larger internationally-operating group) have a newly created opportunity for a commercially astute ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified Finance Manager.
You will enjoy a highly involved, varied and challenging role within a continuous improvement environment.
This is an opportunity for someone to really add value through diligent, proactive and commercially focused business partnering. You will work hand in and with the senior leadership team at the manufacturing facility. You will support the operational heads and managers to really understand the numbers, the budgets and the site performance. Ultimately you will help drive profitability, protect margin and ensure the business operates as effectively as possible.
You will need a firm baseline of management accounting / commercial reporting skills and ideally have worked within a fast paced manufacturing environment (FMCG would be ideal).
You will need to confidently demonstrate business acumen and an ability to translate financial information / reporting into meaningful headline messages for operational teams.
You must have an ability to lead and motivate a small team and be someone who can naturally encourage best practice.

You will need:
A completed qualification (CIMA / ACA / ACCA).
A strong track record of success within a manufacturing, retail or distribution setting and a demonstrable ability to work within a fast paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a track record of suggesting and influencing positive change.
An ability to ‘bring the numbers to life’ and enhance the commercial reporting.
An ability to reassure the FD that they will receive reliable and insightful management accounts to deadline without issue.
