SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for fast growing manufacturing company in Derby. This company has witnessed 25% growth over the last 4 years with further strategic growth planned. This is a newly created role as a result of that growth.
As the Management Accountant, you will be reporting into the Finance Director and will have five reports.
Key responsibilities:
- Production of Management reporting, forecasting and budgeting
- Margin management, inventory management, cost controls
- Ledger reconciliations
- Accrual accounting
- Invoice discounting
- Credit control and cash management
- Cashflow forecasting
- Daily cash controls
- VAT, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat
- PAYE and P11D's
- Government statistics
- Inter-company charging, payments and reconciliations
- Staff supervision
You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA or equivalent) with previous experience of working in an all round finance role ideally within a manufacturing or Engineering environment; as well as good knowledge of finance processes, policies and procedures. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across the business. You will have the ability to take ownership and work independently as well as having a strong team ethos.
