SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a successful manufacturing business in Derby, This business is fast growing and has some exciting future growth plans. The business prides itself on progression and development of staff.
As the Financial Accountant you will be joining a high performing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Production of the statutory accounts
- Liaison with auditors
- Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns
- Oversee company reconciliations
- Tax workings/preparation review
- Supporting the finance function in general in many ad hoc tasks throughout the department.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally looking to make first move from practice, or industry with a proven record in financial accounts within a fast-paced, environment. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be highly motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
