Located in superb offices close to Manchester Airport, the need has been identified for a Qualified ACA/ACCA to join the business to support the Finance Director and the Executive Team. Assuming a position that is key to the continued growth of the Group, this unique opportunity will allow you to manage a team of 2 Finance Assistants, develop value added commercial MI and gross margin forecasting, and partner with a variety of stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will manage the workflow of 2 Finance Assistants responsible for commercial transactional requirements. You will assist with the day-to-day accounting requirements of the Company, including General Ledger responsibilities, develop gross margin forecasting, implement a more tightly controlled budgetary environment, and review the P&L/Balance Sheets from a commercial MI perspective. The business is growing rapidly and you will support with a number of continuous improvement projects specific to finance. Your work will be a key aid to the development of operational plans of the business.
The successful candidate MUST be ACA/ACCA Qualified. You may be seeking your first move from Practice or already have existing, relevant experience from within Industry. You will be seeking the next role to continue your development. You will possess outstanding communication skills, and both technical and commercial excellence. Candidates with experience of a regulated environment (financial services, FCA, CASS) would be of particular interest.
