Badenoch + Clark are working with a fast growing, global pharmaceutical business based in Cambridge who are looking for an FP&A Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a true success story with lots of progression opportunities.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
oIdentify opportunities to improve current budgeting and forecasting processes to establish best in class business partnering
oBecome the business partner to the Commercial Functions; Assist the commercial groups in preparing forecasts and budgets and identifying the underlying reasons for variances from those financial plans.
oDevelop and manage the implementation of annual operating plans
oAnalyses budget patterns and projects expenditures and report budgets for various company departments
oMonitors division and department adherence to approved budget.
oForecast, monitor, analyse and provide variance reporting monthly
oProvides relevant fiscal information to executive management team.
oAssists in the preparation of economic analysis to support new operating decisions and investment opportunities and ensure that the appropriate financial and business risks have been identified and evaluated.
oExamine financial data to insure accuracy and for compliance with policy and procedures
Experience:
oA qualified accountant with a several years of related experience, preferably in a high growth environment, or large organisation (pharma, life science is a plus)
oAdvance skills and experience with TM1, Cognos and IBM Planning analytics, is required or similar
oStrong understanding of corporate financing principles; budgeting processes, forecasting, financial modelling, etc.
oGood understanding of GAAP and SEC rules and their application
oProven ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and the strategic implications of different business approaches.
