Finance Analyst, Compliance

Salary: Up to 25K

Location: Leeds

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting the Finance Compliance Manager in ensuring the compliance of Finance processes with the SRA Accounts Rules across all entities and jurisdictions globally
* Performing detailed reviews of data on our finance systems to investigate compliance issues and SRA breaches
* Providing explanations of data issues to the legal teams and supporting them to resolve
* Developing meaningful trackers of progress and providing weekly/monthly reporting to senior management
* Managing appropriate communications with key stakeholders and answering client money queries
* Performing and reviewing reconciliations in respect of specific client money processes, taking appropriate action to address outstanding items
* Liaising with the Risk function to ensure regulatory and policy compliance at all times


Skills and Experience

* Interest in finance, financial systems and processes
* Experience of working within a regulated / professional services environment
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to quickly master new management information systems
* Experience of detailed transactional investigation, analysing volumes of data in an Efficient and accurate way
* Understanding of business systems and controls
* Experience of working within a highly effective team

A working knowledge and understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules would also be desirable
