FP&A Manager

The CFO of a London Market Insurance business has identified a need to hire an FP&A Manager to significantly enhance the finance department’s capabilities in respect of financial analysis, business planning and partnering, and financial projects which arise frequently (e.g. capital planning and raising, strategic tax initiatives, expense management, run-off company management). This need is critical given the group’s private equity investor base which has high expectations of the business in terms of financial analysis and projections.

This role of FP&A Manager will provide the successful candidate with a significant level of exposure to the inner workings of the Syndicate and wider group business. The relatively small size of the Group means that the this role will play a key role in driving the business forward gain a breadth of experience not typically available in larger organisations.

To be considered for this role you must have a very strong intellect and ability to develop a good understanding of a broad array of financial information from differing sources (including actuarial/capital modelling) needed by the business and the key commercial implications of that information. It is likely you will be a qualified accountant (ACA preferred) and would have had several years’ experience working in an FP&A function of a London Market insurer.
