Description:
Our client is a large FMCG business looking for a forward thinking Commercial Finance Manager/Finance Business Partner in their London Head Office. This role offers brilliant exposure and autonomy within the leading arm of their business, enabling you to see a direct impact on the work you do.  


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Business Partner to UK & I Stakeholders & their respective teams.
  • Operational experience ideally in end-to-end brand development.
  • Developing & Implementing group control procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations, spend management & overheads ownership.
  • Commercial proposal ownership, including pricing sign off, price list management, decision making through provision of P&Ls, working across the business to ensure all inputs are accurate.
  • Engage in range reviews, promotional planning, analysis & commercial tenders.
  • Business Process Development to drive new processes and document existing ones. 
  • Strong understanding of S&OP, working closely with the production & supply to create an in sync forecast/planning process.
  • Group Planning & Reporting including Budgets, Forecasts & Strategic Plans.
  • Strategic Long term planning including growing business in supporting markets & GTR.
  • Provide any other support as required by the FP&A Director.
  • Willingness to Travel to on a National scale (10-20%).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Advanced Excel Skills including modelling. BI exposure is beneficial.
  • FMCG or relevant industry experience required.
  • You’ll be highly Autonomous, able to prioritise your work load effectively as well as being proactive in every area of your role.
  • Experience with end-to-end new product development
  • Experience in driving the performance of key brands for the business.
