Management Accountant - CIMA Studier

Absolutely brilliant opportunity for someone looking for a business to support them through CIMA. You will work for a qualified forward-thinking financial controller who will provide support and mentoring. Your role will be broad and involved and will develop as you progress through your studies. You will have chance to gain the valuable practical accounting experience in parallel to your exam completion.

You will have exposure to all aspects of the monthly accounting routines and be responsible for producing detailed management accounts for a smaller international subsidiary from the outset.

The business is a modern SME within the technology sector. They have experienced rapid growth (20%+ year on year) and are projected to double in turnover over the next 3-5 years. You will work in a vibrant open plan office with an upbeat tempo and culture.

This is a superb role for a graduate / AAT qualified Assistant Accountant who is looking for progression and has recently begun studying CIMA or ACCA.

You will need:

• A proactive and can-do attitude with a real keenness to learn and develop.
• AAT or a relevant degree and have recently begun CIMA (or equivalent).
• Strong Excel skills and an analytical approach.
• Good knowledge of double entry / debits and credits.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience of accruals and prepayments, reconciliations, management accounts preparation, P&L analysis
