Management Accountant

Working closely with the Divisional Financial Controller, a few of your duties will include;

*Produce the month end accounts through to completion against strict reporting deadlines
*Review accounts against plan / forecast, explaining any variance
*Reconcile and own the nominal reconciliations
*Complete & submit reporting against a strict deadline
*Involvement in the weekly and monthly financial reporting process
*Purchasing control and reporting versus plan/forecast
*Sales & margin analysis
*Costing
*Improvement and audit of internal procedures
*Improvement and implementation of new and existing processes
*Reviewing the Company's systems and analysing risk
*Maintaining records and preparing management information
*Auditing external and internal work
*Assist with internal & external audit


This list of duties scratches the surface in terms of what you will have the opportunity to get involved with and you will have the chance to get involved in major ad hoc duties. Experience working within manufacturing is desirable but not essential. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong excel skills. The company would suit someone who wants to progress quickly within the organisation as there will be plenty of progression opportunities coming thick and fast.
