Financial Accountant - Ideal First Move from Practice

A rapidly growing service company based in south Leeds is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance function. The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is now recognised as a market leader within their sector.

With exciting growth forecast within the next 12 months, the business is now expanding its finance team to accommodate an ACA/ACCA qualified financial accountant to join their team. Offering fantastic exposure across the board, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, a selection of which detailed below:

*Control over the monthly and year end accounts
*Maintain a strong Balance Sheet/GL control environment ensuring that the monthly accounts are fully reconciled
*Reconciliation of the weekly to monthly accounts
*Support the site Finance Controller in the preparation of the Monthly Board report.
*Work on forecast & budget preparations (fixed overhead element, balance sheet and cash).
*Statutory reporting & maintenance of the fixed asset register

This is a fantastic opportunity particularly at for any first-time movers from practice looking to make their initial step into industry. ACA/ACCA qualified candidates through industry with demonstrable experience of the above would also be highly desirable.
