Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting on an exclusive basis for a Group Financial Controller to join a market leading business based on the North Yorkshire coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step up into an exciting Group Financial Controller position within a fast-paced, dynamic business.

Reporting into the Group Finance Director, key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Main point of contact for finance at designated sites
  • Analysis of manufacturing data to identify meaningful actions to drive performance
  • Production of the monthly management accounts
  • Collate and produce monthly group management accounts and associated reporting
  • Implement and report on KPI's to measure both operational performance and the efficiency of support functions
  • Driving efficiencies across the business, ensuring quality and consistency of systems and processes Responsibility for the timely production of the annual budget
  • Responsibility for maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations to audit standard
  • Responsibility for treasury and cash management
  • Manage a small finance team and ensure accurate financial reporting is completed in a timely and efficient manner

To be considered for this Group Financial Controller position and be successful in post, you will need the following:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ or ACA qualification or qualified through equivalent experience
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Commercial focus
  • Passion and drive to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to set own deadlines and work without supervision
  • Previous managerial experience
  • Strong systems knowledge
