greenwellgleeson has been retained to recruit a Head of Finance for a fast growing privately owned retail and distribution business. In this newly created No 1 role the role holder will be responsible for leading the Finance Function with overall responsibility for the consolidated monthly and annual reporting, manage working capital, overseeing tax/treasury /risk, liaising with external stakeholders, supporting M&A and most importantly work with the MD to drive operational and strategic change in the group to improve overall group performance. To be considered for the role you will need to have held a senior finance role within a SME, be technically competent, have experience of working in an distribution/retail business with some international exposure of considerable benefits. Additionall you will need to demonstrate abilty to drive strategic change and delivering best practice on controls and process across the group.
