Senior Fund Accountant

Senior Fund Accountant Responsibilities:

• Ultimate responsibility for ensuring all Costs and Charges reporting is compliant with various regulatory requirements, including MiFID II, PRIIPs and FCA
• Ensuring all necessary controls are in place for the solution, identifying and implementing of additional controls and procedures across the business as necessary
• Responsibility with the implementation of the costs & charges operating model
• Ongoing management of the Costs & Charges operating model and management of the implementation of further enhancements in the future as required
• Accountability for delivering key reports to stakeholders within RL Group and external
• Key contact to stakeholders in RL Group for requests, queries and delivery
• Provide ongoing support to the Fund Accounting Manager
• Delegate, co-ordinate and supervise work of junior team members

Senior Fund Accountant Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified accountant with proven Fund Accountancy experience
• Understanding of regulated funds' NAV workings
• Exposure to project experience or Business Analyst experience within a project environment;
• Exposure to regulations such as MiFID II/PRIIPs
• Detailed understanding of a variety of asset classes and instruments
• Motivated and proactive
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
