Housebuliding Financial Controller / Senior Accountant
Arnold Ash have been retained by a leading Private Equity House to identify and attract a Financial Controller to report directly to the Head of Residential. The ideal candidate will already have a similar role or would be looking to make a move out of a more siloed FC or FD role because they want a job with more variety and interest to work in more entrepreneurial culture etc.
The role will support the Head of Residential to undertake and manage investments in the residential sector. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly respected team that has substantial assets under management.
They will be responsible for managing and reporting on our various existing investments in the sector, as well as helping to structure and underwrite new investments.
The ideal Housebuilding Financial Controller / Residential Analyst will have:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the house building industry, gained within a house building company and/or a respected professional services firm
- Audit / Transaction Services background
- Risk Management and Metrics Reporting experience
- University degree (Finance related) with a record of excellent academic achievement
- Candidates should be a professionally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Strong competencies, particularly with regards to stakeholder engagement
- Superior knowledge of software and analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint etc.
