Accounting Specialist

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an Accounting Specialist on behalf of a multinational business based in Coventry.

The successful candidate will possess all round accounting experience and support the finance function in maintaining a robust control environment and on-going integrity of reporting.

Duties will include:

• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of key accounting processes, systems and procedures
• Use knowledge to support in improving the control environment
• Perform monthly reviews of consolidated results including in depth analysis of key revenue and expense elements
• Review financial processes and/or statements that are complex such as revenue, contracts and commissions
• Evaluate and identify financial risks, compliance or control issues
• Participate in the external audit review process, providing guidance on key control activities for an assigned area

Key skills required:

• A qualified Accountant would be preferred (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) but is not essential
• Experience of working in an international business would be beneficial
• A driven, self starter with good communication skills
