Financial Accountant needed for an international telecommuniactions business located in Berkshire!

£45,000 - £50,000 + benefits

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a financial accountant to join a well-established telecommunications company in Berkshire. The overall role would be the ownership of accounting, reporting and business partnering in relation to receivable trade and other income. Reporting into the Finance Manager, there would also be a responsibility of reviewing and presenting summary schedules with key highlights, explaining monthly results to senior management. This would be well suited to an ACA qualified accountant looking to make their first move out of practice into industry.

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to have:

  • University degree.
  • Recently qualified/finalist accountant (ACA or ACCA)
  • Financial Accounting experience in a large corporate company.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels.
  • Excellent MS Office skills with ability to work with large amount of data in Excel.
  • Sound commercial acumen.

A little more information about the role:

  • Accounting for debtors & other income including, IFRS9 provisioning compliance, month end tasks and large-scale data analysis.
  • Production of reporting and presentation results at the monthly FD review on performance including explanations of key movements and drivers.
  • Responsibility for reporting and engagement with selected operational business areas.
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis.
  • Engage with budget holders to understand and challenge future and ongoing costs.
  • Supporting the FP&A team with the Annual Planning process.
