Management Accountant

A rapidly growing Manufacturing company based in Bury is looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is a brand new position to support the growth of the company and you will be working closely with the Head of Finance and Financial Controller on a daily basis.

You will be involved in major decision making and therefore this would make a great opportunity for someone looking to have a real impact within a growing company. This position requires someone who's not afraid to challenge the status quo and look to improve systems and processes as they go through a ERP system change.

Key aspects of the role will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, working to tight timescales on a monthly basis
• Cash flow forecasting and analysis for the whole company
• Actively driving profit margins and revenues
• Budget preparation, variances and spend analysis
• Balance Sheet analysis and P&L variance analysis.
• Financial support, including reporting, decision support
• Involvement in improving systems and controls throughout the business
• Assisting with the annual audit.

The successful candidate will be Qualified in ACCA/CIMA and have strong excel skills.
