FINANCE MANAGER
A market leading Property Investment firm are currently looking to hire a Finance Manager to head up the finance function through continued growth and development of the business. The company, whilst relatively young, has established itself well and is now looking to build an effective structure to enable their further success.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar sector (Property, Hotels, Multi-site Leisure etc.) in order to efficiently slot into the newly created role. Alongside this a recognised accountancy qualification would be heavily favoured.
Some key responsibilities of the role include:
- Management and preparation of monthly management accounts including budgeting & forecasting
- Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102 & UK GAAP
- Responsibility for all intercompany reconciliations
- Preparing and producing consolidated financial statements for the group
- Responsibility for all project related budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Possessing a strong knowledge of tax matters (VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax specifically)
This role would suit a dynamic accountant with strong commercial mind-set and the ability to add value at all levels. The company has fantastic growth potential both domestically and internationally, so a second European language would be preferred.
