Group Financial Controller

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone to join a very well-known hospitality business as their Group Financial Controller. The role would suit someone who has similar experience in a consumer/multi-site business. As well as the business as usual duties listed below, there is a large change/project element to the role too. There will be 6-8 direct reports in the role.

Responsibilities:

• All cash, banking requirements and day to day cash management
• Responsible for control environment and risk management, ensuring the existence of best practice across the department with a view to
• Supervision of statutory process, audit and tax liaison, reporting to Audit Committee
• Ensuring our technical compliance, and implementation of accounting standards and practice
• Responsibility for developing and reporting the Short-Term Cash Flow Forecast model for the Group
• Overall accountability for Shared Services
• Manage the day to day relationships with our lenders and other banking relationships
• Manage foreign currency hedging requirements and foreign currency (as required)
• Understand and manage working capital movements to the company's best advantage
