I am working with a business on Salford Quays to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to join the finance team in a fast growing SME.
The role will be responsible for:
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for Holding Company and some Group businesses
- Preparation of Monthly & Yearly Consolidated Group Accounts
- Group Forecast & Budget preparation
- Development & preparation of Group KPI’s
- Preparation of Year end files for Audit and liaise with external auditors
- Control of Intercompany Accounts & balances
- Assist with Corporation Tax planning and compliance
- Support Group Treasury function & payroll function
- Company Secretarial Support
- Preparation of VAT returns, compliance, including review of returns, advice and guidance to the business
- Able to undertake Acquisition due diligence work
The successful candidate will have:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or finalist
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Commercially astute
- Able to deliver high quality output considering the appropriate format for the audience
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
This role would suit someone who currently works as a Financial Accountant in industry or someone seeking a first move out of practice.
