Opportunities of the Senior Treasury Accountant include:
- Preparation and review of monthly accounts for central Treasury, head office subsidiaries, and structure companies
- Variance analysis of budgets, forecasts and actual
- Production of statutory accounts under UK GAAP for Treasury entities
- Leveraging the Treasury Management System (TMS) to prepare monthly financial instrument valuations and complete hedge effectiveness testing
- Providing advice on cash flow hedge accounting entries to Operation companies
- Regularly reviewing foreign exchange positions
- Debt portfolio management
- Management of the Group Graduate Accountant
Capabilities of the Senior Treasury Accountant include:
- Fully-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Previous Treasury experience in a large corporate
- Knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP beneficial (IAS 32, IAS 21, IFRS9 and IFRS7)
- eTC Wallstreet City Financials and Hyperion desirable (or other)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
