Finance Manager (Financial Controls)

Leading organisation in central Leeds seek to appoint an experienced Finance Manager for their Financial Controls team.

Reporting to the Group Senior Finance Manager and part of a team of 5/6 staff the role is a critical central Finance role and broad responsibilities will include:-
* Delivering and reporting Group results at month and year end
* Preparation of Statutory Accounts
* Line manager to trainee accountants
* Implementing and reviewing controls across wider finance
* Being a subject matter expert and go to person for all finance
* Balance Sheet review and analysis
* Key point of contact with the auditors


What you'll need to succeed

• Professionally qualified Accountant with a broad range of experience
• Strong technical knowledge of IAS/FRS demonstrated by excellent Financial Control experience
• Working across complex entities, systems and countries
• Experience of operating within a highly effective team, including line management experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Commercial awareness in both approach and delivery
• Strong diplomacy, influencing and persuasion skills
• Confident and credible in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
• Solution oriented
