About the role:

We are looking for a driven Financial Reporting Accountant to be responsible for delivering Financial Reporting services for the Group, drive continuous improvement in the financial reporting processes and be a key point of contact for other areas of finance (Financial Planning, Treasury etc.)

You will support ongoing projects as required and you will also be a key contact during the external audit of the Society.

This role is well suited to a driven and highly organisational accounting professional with strong technical experience, able to manage deliverables and strong customer/ client service skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with at least 1 year post qualification experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS and in particular IFRS9  
  • Work experience within financial operations / reporting / control or within accountancy practice
  • Finance degree or other relevant qualifications advantageous
  • Strong IT skills, including excel.
