SF Recruitment are working with a private equity backed multi-site service sector business based just outside Birmingham City Centre. The business in question operates independently and is focused in the treatment and care of people.They are looking to appoint a Head of Finance to run the finance function and be a key support to the senior management team in driving the business forward.
Our client is looking for a qualified accountant, not only with the ability to work independently but also someone who can demonstrate their commercial awareness. As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading a finance team, with a focus on:
- Reporting for the financial calendar produced accurately and timely for use by the business
- Developing key processes and internal controls
- Delivering forecasts and budgets that meet the overall needs of the business and effectively highlighting commercial risks and opportunities
- Business partnering with key stakeholders both internally and externally
