Search Consultancy are currently supporting a growing Professional Services client who have a national footprint with the recruitment of a Senior Commercially biased, qualified accountant.

The role of Finance Business Partner is based in the Manchester operation and will be supporting the finance function in the delivery of a key transformation project while driving performance across the business unit.

The Finance Business Partner will take the lead in enabling the achievement of key objectives within Finance and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities include –

• Leading the budget preparation on an annual basis, providing commercial insight in order to ensure accuracy of the budgetary process
• Interpret month end forecast analysis for the department
• Provision of analysis to maximise profitability across the business unit
• End to end ownership of P&L’s providing insight where required and commercial overlap
• Acting as the conduit across Finance and Operations
• Articulation of Business Risk as well as any capital issues
• Supporting the development teams in key client reviews and development plans
  
  The key driver for this role is the ability to communicate across the senior management team and to coordinate the approach of the business to maximise both efficiency and approach.
  
  You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to influence stakeholders coupled with real commercial finance exposure in a professional services environment. As a qualified accountant the Finance Business Partner will be able to add real value through a transparent straight forward approach.
