Management Accountant

SF Group are recruiting for a fantastic automotive manufacturing business in the West Midlands. This is an fantastic varied role and suited to a part qualified / finalist accountant ideally from a manufacturing background. The successful applicant will look to successfully forecast the Plants performance, identify key performance variances and focus the management team's actions on addressing these variances.

Further Duties include:

1. Prepare budgets and monthly forecasts
2. Prepare monthly Sales analysis and P&L's with commentary on variances to budgets and forecasts, with focus on:
- BOM Changes
- Stock adjustments
- Scrap Variances
- Purchase Price Movements
- Material usage variances
- Direct and Indirect labour variances
- Overhead variances
3. Maintain BOM costings
4. Have complete control on the management of the Fixed Overheads - mitigate risks and exploit the opportunities
5. Escalate GRNI issues with plant team
6. Management of the Accruals and Prepayments
7. Responsibility for PI postings working alongside the Stock Controller, ensuring stock levels monitored, accuracy maintained and target relevant team members with reductions
8. Sales analysis, P&L's with ad-hoc analysis of P&L items not performing to budget and forecasts
9. Influence the Plant Manager and management team to prioritise actions on key variances
10. Provide financial support to the plant management team as required
11. Work with commercial/project finance teams to monitor sales price movement and product profitability and highlight any issues
12. Management of the Fixed Asset Register with complete control of the CAPEX tracker to aid the Plant Controller in key decision making
