Part-Time Finance Manager - Real Estate - OUR CLIENT is a regional real estate management arm of one of the largest investment firms in the world. As the firm continues to expand, they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager (on a part-time basis) to support their Senior Finance Manager and to join their 'on site' team in the heart of their prestigious site.

THE ROLE of the successful candidate for the Finance Manager role will assume the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the management and leading a team of two (AR Property Accountant and AP Property Accountant).
  • Preparing annual service charge budgeting for multi entity/multi schedule site.
  • Analysing monthly SC Variance Analysis/Process Management across departments.
  • Preparing of Service Charge Budget Packs and Service Charge Year End Packs.
  • Managing tenant queries and liaising with blue chip company executives.
  • Managing of quarterly rental, service charge and utility billings for the estate and associated reconciliations to budgets and sign off processes.
  • Handling of rent collections and stat reporting process liaising with the company including pay over to Landlord function.
  • Handling month end - Cash and Trial Balance report reconciliations.
  • Completing of monthly report (used for Bank/ Lender Reporting).
  • Producing periodic financial information for multi stakeholder use/presenting to management.
  • Handling year end service charge audit management.
  • Responsible for other ad hoc duties associated with day-to-day financial management of the estate and assisting the Senior Finance Manager.

THE PERSON: To apply, you MUST have at least 2+ years of experience working within Real Estate/or experience in a similar role. The candidate should have an understanding of using Property Management Systems such as QUBE/YARDI/TRAMPS as well as Excel. To apply, you should have a strong understanding of reconciliations i. trial balances, cash reconciliations etc. and the successful candidate should have good communication skills both verbal and written as you will be communicating internally/externally. The role will require 24 hours a week but the client is flexible on whether this is over 3 or 5 days.
