Finance Business Partner

A global FTSE listed leisure and travel business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its finance function.

This role supports the head of payments, with the purpose of optimising the investment in payment costs role will be key in supporting the payments strategic roadmap, driving revenue and most efficiently spending cost.

The role will provide analytics and insight to support key change initiatives, helping to ensure efficient payment structures. This is a cost with significant senior focus given its impact on unit cost metrics as well as its role in driving revenue conversion, particularly in direct channels.

Strong modelling and problem solving skills are essential. The finance team needs to work with significant datasets to support the business in making changes and adopting the right payment / sales strategy in the right market.

Understanding of payments is important. Given the speed of change in payment regulations, complex capital projects to update IT systems are ongoing so this role will have a key part to play in navigating capital investment processes.

There will be the requirement for supplier renegotiation so supporting these procurement processes will be important to ensure the balance of business and financial benefits is realised. This is a complex cost area so the role will be key in providing expertise and insight through clear communication with senior stakeholders that demystifies this complex subject matter.

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong modelling experience and the ability to business partner non finance. An understading of payments would be desirable.
