About the role

You will ensure that revenue is collected in a timely and consistent manner and any customer enquiries in relation to their debt are handled efficiently and resolved promptly. You will have a good understanding of the resulting ledger balances in the context of Jisc's wider position.

As our new Group credit controller, you will be based in Harwell, Oxfordshire and the Ledgers Manager within the Group accounts shared service will hold the formal reporting line.

 

About you

We're ideally looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working with financial databases
  • Experience of functional management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer service ethos
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work with the ability to work as part of a team

Location

This role will be based in Harwell.

Jisc is a geographically-distributed organisation and travel across the UK may be required at times.
