This well known, established manufacturing company based in South Leeds are looking for a qualified Accountant to join their expanding finance function.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be the number one point of contact for finance for multiple sites and have a seat at the table at the weekly management meeting where you will present the information from a finance perspective.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will partner closely with different departments to ensure all projects are on track from a finance point of view.
Other responsibilities include:
• Production of monthly management accounts.
• Provide timely & accurate financial information to the business to drive strong cost control.
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders for the site to ensure financial targets are hit.
• Streamline financial processes to ensure the month end is efficient.
The role would suit an ambitious qualified accountant who is looking to progress in their career.
You will be driven, motivated and have the ability to communicate and influence non-finance focused stakeholders. Previous experience in manufacturing would be advantageous, however, a desire to learn and progress in the company is more important.
