Financial Controller (Part Time)

Due to continued growth, an innovative manufacturing business is now seeking to appoint their first Financial Controller on a part time basis. This is an exciting time to join the business - they have experienced double-digit growth and have just secured a new major contract with further expansion planned. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will enjoy a varied and responsible role giving you the opportunity to play a crucial part in the future success of this operation.

Working as part of the leadership team, the scope of the role will include:

• Responsibility for all aspects of budgeting and forecasting
• Development of monthly accounts utilising accounting software
• Development of detailed KPI reporting and dealing with ad hoc requirements for analysis
• Principle liaison point with the 3rd parties including suppliers, bank and auditors

In order to be considered for this position, you should be proven in a similar role within an SME, with a strong commercial acumen and a keenness to drive positive change. Knowledge of MS Nav is advantageous. There is some flexibility around the weekly time expectations for this position, but we are particularly keen to speak to candidates who are interested in a 2 - 3 day per week commitment.
