German speaking Financial Accountant

Venn Group is currently working with a global company based in the West Midlands to recruit a German speaking Financial Accountant.

This organisation are a leader in their sector who are growing at a rapid rate and looking to continue such growth, as a result, they’re now looking to expand their finance function in the Midlands area.

What you will be responsible for:

• Producing accurate and timely month end tax figures
• Providing a timely and compliant month end close of all accounts
• Ensuring effective cash management by monitoring ongoing cash position
• Providing accurate and timely revenue results for the month
• Calculating quarterly and monthly VAT returns in accordance to local frameworks
• Impacting revenue and expense accruals

The successful candidate will hold experience in the following:

• Fluent German speaker
• Producing statutory accounts
• Proven experience in VAT returns
• Experience in liaising with other internal departments such as payroll and accounts payable
• Consolidating monthly accounts and investigating any variances
• Experience working with internal and external auditors
• Preparing accounts in USGAAP framework
