Semi Senior Accountant - Part Qualified / Finalist ACA or ACCA or AAT

£32,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits, bonus and study support (ACA / ACCA)

Based close to Ilford

New, small, niche practice firm with clients primarily within the crypto, gaming and entertainment sectors are now looking to hire a Semi Senior Accountant into their Essex based office.The company has recently experienced a huge surge in their volume of business in what is an exciting and fast moving environment.The main duties of the Semi Senior Accountant will be to ask as an outsourcing partner to clients and your duties will include:

• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of management accounts
• Double entry bookkeeping
• Purchase, sales and general ledger entries
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Supervising junior members of staff
• Liaising with banks, brokers and payment service providers
• Working closely with the international accountant on international assignments

Semi Senior Accountant - requirements

• Part qualified, finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• AAT candidates will also be considered from a practice background
• 2-6 years experience of working in a practice firm
• Experience of FRS 102 and IFRS
• Knowledge of Xero is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous cryptocurrency experience useful but by no means essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise
• A good sense of humour
