Our exclusive client are a Private Equity backed retailer and manufacturer of luxury handcrafted goods. They pride themselves on sourcing only the finest-quality components from across the globe, and boast an impressive client base of primarily blue chip retailers.

The business has undergone structural changes to strengthen its position and is now well placed to achieve its ambitious strategic business plan for the next 3 to 5 years. In line with this, there is a need to appoint a hands on and ambitious Head of Finance to take overall control of all aspects of the Company’s day-to-day financial management. The Head of Finance will ensure that the company's financial commitments are met, and will develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management and control.

Key priorities for this Head of Finance role will include producing reports and insightful commentary suited to that of a Private Equity backed and ambitious SME. Working closely with the Sales & Design Director and Production Director, the Head of Finance will drive operational performance and efficiencies; be the right hand person to the Managing Director offering sound financial advice and taking full control of commercial finance for the business.

The appointed candidate will have a successful track record working in a commercial and operational finance role with experience in a relevant industry such as manufacturing. Experience of managing stakeholders including banks and PE investors is essential, as well as proven evidence of being part of a successful growth story.

The Head of Finance will be a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant with the ambition and drive to forge their own career in becoming the future Finance Director. This will be a hands-on role, requiring a high degree of commercial acumen and operational experience to ensure strategic influence. The appointed candidate will be conscientious and technically competent to give confidence to the private equity investors.
