Payments Specialist

Where you fit in…

You will become an integral part of the Finance Team within a business that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working.

Your role:

• Processing payments via multiple online banking platforms
• Maintain all cash books by uploading bank statements, processing of cash journals, banking and raising cheques
• Liaising with internal and external suppliers to ensure all cash is collected and processed in a timely manner
• Responsible for updating and maintaining departmental summary tables, analyse and reports on supplier performance against SLA's
• Be the first point of contact for the banks, acquirers, payment gateways and internal colleagues regarding day to day banking and payment related queries
• Responsible for producing balance sheet reconciliations as per the month end timetable

What you need…

You'll need to be the kind of person who is a self-starter with the ambition to progress within the business. You will be able to communicate and establish effective working relationships with colleagues and third parties while demonstrating a positive 'can do' attitude and strong team work ethic. Knowledge of general corporate banking and payments is essential and you will have the ability to use the standard advanced functions such as VLOOPUP's, Pivot Tables and other complex formula's.
