Partner Financial are working with a FTSE listed organisation based in London, seeking a technically-experienced professional to take on the role of Revenue Recognition Consultant. The primary purpose of the role will be the coaching and support of Divisional finance teams in the set-up of any major contracts, incorporating the correct revenue recognition and ensuring the proper technical accounting standards are applied.

Essential Competencies

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with sufficient and relevant post qualification experience
  • Proven experience in a mid-level finance role within a matrix reporting structure
  • Strong understanding of accounting treatment for revenue
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience implementing IFRS 15 – i.e. Revenue from Contracts with Customers
  • Previous experience of coaching and guiding teams on new templates, procedures, and work methods, alongside proven managerial skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive execution at all levels of the business 
  • Autonomous and self-motivated, with drive and resilience in the face of resistance or setbacks
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • RAR and SAP experience is essential
  • S4 Hana experience is desirable
  • You will be required to travel across the UK for up to 30% of the role
  • Flexible working arrangements are negotiable
